Physical activity is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and active children grow into healthy active adults.

This summer, Highmark again partners with Citiparks for a healthy activity – “On Your Mark with Highmark Youth Challenge” – to encourage children to lace up their running shoes and take part in community footraces…by either running or walking the 5K distance.

Each child age 6 to 12* who completes one community footrace – or each youth age 13 to 18* who completes two community footraces – receive free registration to The Great Race courtesy of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
