Awards

For the 2023 Great Race, the City of Pittsburgh and P3R are proud to introduce a brand new division in which runners can compete. The Non-Binary Division will welcome athletes of any gender or gender expression. The P3R team worked closely with a group of diverse runners to ensure that this division addresses the needs of each and every member of the running community while respecting everyone’s right to feel safe, welcome, and seen.

Any runner can choose to compete in this new division. All you need to do is answer “Yes” to the question during registration to indicate that you would like to compete in the Non-Binary Division. If you select “no,” you will automatically be entered into the division that aligns with the gender you selected earlier in the registration questionnaire. (Please note that if you indicate your gender as non-binary or prefer not to disclose and you select that you do not want to compete in the Non-Binary Division, you will not be eligible for any awards.)
