Volunteer

Coordinating Pennsylvania’s largest 10K race — and its related events — takes a team effort. Thanks to everyone on or along the course who makes The Great Race such a tremendous success!

Our dedicated volunteers kick off “Great Race Week” by working at the Junior Great Race; stuff 15,000+ runner packets; distribute packets and the t-shirts to participants at The Great Race Expo; send the field off to a good start on race day; keep everyone hydrated along the course route; and greet runners/walkers at the end of their journey.

Volunteers are a valuable part of the race, and we literally can’t do it without them!
