The 5K run begins in Oakland at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street (at the 10K midway point). The 3.1-mile course travels along a predominantly downhill course before finishing at Point State Park. A fitness walk starts immediately after the 5K run.

Registration deadline to participate in the Push Rim/Hand Cycle Division is Tuesday, September 24 at 11:59 p.m. Wheelchair competitions will be held in both the 10K and 5K races.
