Course Map

The 10K course (6.2 miles) begins in Frick Park at Beechwood Boulevard. The predominately downhill course travels along Forbes Avenue, Fifth Avenue and Boulevard of the Allies before finishing in Point State Park. The 5K (3.1 miles) starts at Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street in Oakland and follows the same route as the 10K to the Finish Line. To view the 2021 course map, click on the image to enlarge it. 
 

COURSE TIME LIMITS

City streets, police officers and support are contracted for specific times and cannot be extended. All participants must adhere to a 12:00 minute-per-mile pace. If you cannot adhere to the scheduled pace, you will be asked to move to a sidewalk so traffic can resume. If you choose to continue after the course has re-opened, there will be no medical support, fluid stations or course marshals at intersections and the course will no longer be marked. Participants after that time will not be guaranteed a finish time or medal.
